Moms, “Why Get Into Network Marketing?”

This week I really wanna focus on Family and Business. Today, I wanna share something that Homemakers and Stay-At-Home Moms may want to consider, in this economic downturn.

Working at home has its ups and downs. But I must say the positives of it heavily outweigh the negatives. In fact, I’ve come up with 5 great reasons to be a work-at-home mom.

But before I get into those reasons, I just wanna take 3 minutes to show you why so many Stay At Home Moms and Homemakers; are finding amazing success with our company; by sharing a general video.

The income each mom needs to bring into the home could be differently, but our reasons for working at home are more consistent. Whether you feel that you  need to make an extra $20k a year, or A MONTH – it doesn’t matter. You know what kind of income you want to earn in providing for things that your family needs and wants.

Spend more time with your kids:
Working from home allows you to be a part of your children’s routines throughout the day; not just morning, evenings and weekends. You can take a lunch break with your toddler and hear all the day’s news when they get home from school. Work-at-home moms don’t have unlimited time with their kids, but they do have more frequent opportunities to be there for their kids.

Increase your income:
Moms who left careers to raise children can ease their way back into the swing of things by starting a business from home. Moms can while still employing a hands-on, day-to-day parenting style.

No more commuting to work:
When you travel back and forth to work, you’re neither working nor spending time with family. Working at home eliminates this waste of time and leaves more time for the kids. Also, not only is commuting a drag, it’s expensive. You’ll save money on public transportation costs, car insurance and gas which is currently over $4 dollars in gallon.

Work flexible hours:
Though home business moms often enjoy more flexibility than Corporate America moms. Many who are working at home choose hours early in the morning or after the kids have gone to bed.

More control over your life:
Make time for yourself as well as your family with the time saved by working at home. The home business moms in particular gain a feeling of controlling their own destiny. Instead of spending 40 hours of your life every week building someone else legacy, concentrate your efforts on building a future for your family that will last a lifetime.

There are lots of Homemakers and Stay-At-Home moms that have become Work-At-Home Moms on our team that affectionately refer to as our “REDEEMED TEAM” I have cannot remember the last time I have met a more dedicated group of individuals that care about their customers, clients and quality of life. I am proud to partner with them for their success.

  1. Hi Tony,

Your points about working from home for mom’s or dad’s are well put and valid. Each of us has our reasons for wanting to build a business that we control, but the independence, the freedom, the tax advantages all add up to personal success.

Thanks for refreshing our memory why we each have a work from home business.

    1. Thanks for the kind posts Rick, it is just something that I think more people should be aware of…

  2. Great list Tony. At a workshop I hosted for women entrepreneurs a few years ago several of the attendees were invited to share with the group why they had started their business. One woman who volunteered to share had a hard edge about her and wasn’t exactly known for networking among the group, but I thought it would be good to hear different stories. She started out with the usual stuff about earning money to pay the bills, etc., but at some point her demeanor changed and she shared with the group that she’d had a very difficult childhood and had little confidence in herself – her business allowed her to build something to demonstrate to herself and others, she had value. By this time she was crying as was everyone in that room …

Those are all great and positive reasons to get into Network Marketing.  I can’t see any negatives from your list although there are those negatvies out there for people both Moms and Dads.  It is just a matter of people opening their minds and change their thinking a bit and they won’t see that working for someone else and a job/career is the only way to earn an income for them self.

    1. Thanks for the kind words,

I am really passionate about this industry now and to be frank, I would much rather wear a “meat poncho” and play a game of tag with hungry lions after they missed breakfast before I go back to corporate america…
